Delayed & Closed Courts: | ||
Arkansas | Crittenden | The Marion District Court has reopened and their record keeping system is once again functioning. We are completing searches as quickly as possible. |
California | El Dorado | The court is transitioning to a new case management system therefore, the process until then is fully clerk assisted. Please expect delays. |
California | Kings | Possible records must be completed by the court clerks via appointment only. Expect delays. |
California | Los Angeles | No DOB information is available from the PAT. The court clerks will no longer verify DOB’s. We are allowed to request five case files a day where we can then confirm the DOB. Expect major delays. |
California | Marin | Cases requiring clerk assistance may be delayed. The court has reopened by appointment only. They are also limiting researchers to pull six cases per appointment. Expect major delays. |
California | Nevada | The new PAT is fully functional but the process has turned partially clerk assisted due to the DOB redactions. Between the backlog and clerk assistance, please expect delays. |
California | Sacramento | The Court removed DOB's from their site so all searches with possible records must be processed with the court. The court is now limiting the number of files that can be pulled each day. Cases older 2019 must be pulled from an offsite location and can take over 10 business days to retrieve. Please expect extensive delays. |
California | San Bernardino | Searches that require file pulls may be delayed. |
California | San Joaquin | This is a partially clerk assisted county which is delayed due to massive backlogs. |

California | San Diego | All possible records must be submitted to the clerks in order to get complete information. The court has been operating with a skeleton crew for the last several weeks and has built up a backlog of requests. Expect delays. |
California | Solano | Courts are open with limited public access. All searches are indexed via public terminal. DOBs for possible records are verified via books. Once the case number is matched with a DOB, file must be ordered with clerks to retrieve case disposition. Once matching cases are identified and ordered, it takes the clerks 10-15 business days to scan. Please note delays are due to court’s backlog. |
California | Ventura | Due to Covid, only the Ventura Superior Court is accepting requests at the clerk counter. The court is backlogged due to staff limitations and limited hours so please expect delays on orders that require clerk assistance. |
